How to generate a Certified Penetration Test Report

Get a PDF report with details of your BreachRisk testing that's suitable for internal or external sharing purposes in a format.

When you run BreachRisk™ testing, you can generate a sharable Certified Penetration Test Report in your dashboard and download it whenever you need.

This feature is available for Pro and Premium direct-to-enterprise users that have at least 1 penetration testing cycle completed.

Generate and Download a BreachRisk Penetration Test Report

1. Begin by navigating to the Reports section to access all available cyber risk reports.

2. Click Generate a New Report.

3. Open the report type dropdown and select BreachRisk Penetration Test Report for a Certified Report, or Executive Summary for a non-technical version.

For external reasons like regulatory, compliance, or vendor diligence, we recommend selecting the Executive Summary because it does not include technical details that could be used to aid an attacker

4. Click the date input field to pick the relevant assessment date for your report.

5. Check this box to also receive the report as an email attachment.

6. Click Create My Report to initiate report generation based on your selections.

7. You will receive a notification after submission, and after the report is available to view.

8. This status will notify you once the report is ready, and typically takes less than 5 minutes.

9. Success! The Certified Penetration Test Report is available to download.

10. Click the Download icon to save your BreachRisk Penetration Test Report for offline access.

11. Return to this page any time to view, download, and generate reports.
