Archiving: How to & when to remove an entity

Archiving removes an entity from view, and declutters your interface. Here's why you would do it, and how.

Updated over 3 weeks ago

If an application is not in your lifecycle, you should remove it from view to declutter your workspace. This also helps other users on your team focus.

When should I archive?

Here are some cases where you would archive an entity:

  1. You declined the entity, but don't want to track it for performance-review purposes.

  2. You accidentally added the entity.

  3. The entity is not a part of your target policyholder group.

What happens when I archive?

  • You and other users from your team will no longer see the entity in the platform.

  • All data is saved and can be accessed later, if the entity is added back to the platform.

  • BreachRisk™ a.i. may stop periodically monitoring the entity.

  • BreachRisk™ a.i. may stop any ongoing assessments and Priority Override requests.

1. View Entity Profile

Start by searching for the entity you want to archive using the search field in the left sidebar.

2. Select the entity or press Enter if it is at the top.

3. Select Archive...

4. Confirm

Confirm archiving the entity by selecting Archive this Entity in the confirmation dialog.

The entity will be archived from view, but data will not be deleted. You can always add the entity back.

5. Fresh & Clean

The entity has now been archived.
