Tags: Organizing entities

Tags are one of the ways your organization can organize entities across a variety of random categories. Here's how to add, remove, and search with tags.

1. (Optional) Filter or search for an entity to begin managing its tags.

2. Open the Tags options menu to access tag management.

3. Select or add a new tag

Select a tag from the list to apply it to the entity.

Tags in use by other entities are shown in the dropdown.

4. You can also search for tags used by other entities

Use Search to find the tag you want to make it easier.

Don't see the tag you want in the list? Add your own tag by typing it in and select or press Enter.

5. Tag suggestions will appear when you search.

6. Click outside of the interface.

7. Batch changes

Click Save Changes to apply your tag updates to the entity.

Pro Tip: Use the select option on the left side of the table to edit tags for multiple entities at the same time.

8. Modifying tags from single entity view

Another way to add tags is from the single entity view.

To use this, double click into an entity to see the single entity view.

9. Click Tag Actions... to manage tags for this entity.

10. Select Remove Tags for tag removal options for the entity.

11. Choose the tag(s) you want to remove from the entity.

12. Click Remove Tags to confirm and remove the selected tag(s) from the entity.

13. You can also add tags using the Tag Actions... option.

14. Open the tag actions menu again for further tag management.

15. Click the input field to add a new or existing tag for the entity.

16. Confirm adding the selected tag(s).
