From 01 January 2026 - 31 January 2026 we are rolling out various usability improvements along with a few significant display adjustments. We'll update this article as the updates are rolled out.
This rollout is iterative in nature and involves many small adjustments. This article will be periodically updated as changes become live.
Release Highlights
All-new elevated light and dark themes. Enhanced readability and consistency reflecting BreachBits® emerging role in the LLOYD'S market.
Enhanced data browsing. More functionality for our data-heavy dashboard features such as tables, filters, downloads, trends, and inspectors.
Dashboard Presentation
Factors related to the way the dashboard presents insights to the user, and the way users can interact with the dashboard.
Layout and Display
All new 2026 theme delivers better readability, contrast, clarity, and consistency.
Non-critical item colors muted to avoid potential alert fatigue
Critical items presented with more distinct colors
High, Medium, Low colors updated with a more modern color tone/temperature.

My BreachRisk™ layout is more compact to highlight summary statuses.
Selecting the Perimeter, Social, Cloud, or Exposure card from My BreachRisk will navigate directly to the related details page.
Various UI components updated to reflect when users can and cannot select items to learn more.
Various colors were muted to gray or subdued colors to avoid confusion with risk items that use red, green, and yellow to convey risk level.
Some data fields updated to use a
monospacefont to enhance readability for technical users to eliminate character ambiguityGrouped various loading indicators to more clearly enable the user to know when data is being loaded

Added a table setting button on each table, to adjust pagination and row height settings
Quick-access buttons added to the Threats table to access penetration testing results, Threat Inspector, and Host Inspector from the Threat table. Hover over a row in the Threats table to access.
Quick-access buttons added to the Attack Surface table to access Host Inspector and to copy location URL to clipboard.
Adjusted various table column headers to reflect other adjustments on this page.
Threat Inspector
Selecting a row in the Threats table now opens the Threat Inspector.
New icon assigned to represent Threat Inspector
When the Threat Inspector appears, users can now use the keyboard buttons to quickly browse threats. To activate, open the Threat Inspector, then select a row from the Threats table, then use keyboard arrows up and down will to move to each record in the table without the need to close and re-open the Threat Inspector.
User can also quickly navigate between threats using "Previous" and "Next" buttons near the top of the Threat Inspector
Some section headings were renamed and reordered for improved clarity.
Added more descriptive tooltips for credential, misconfiguration, and vulnerability-based threats
Analysis & Testing Status is now displayed in a way that conveys the process whereby Threat status moves from Suspected -> Verified as BreachRisk™ a.i. is able to gain higher confidence. And for active testing mode, that BreachRisk™ a.i. then proceeds from Verified -> Tested -> Breached.
Location Details provides a button to quickly access the Host Inspector, copy the location URL, or open the location in a new window without leaving the Threat Inspector.
Updated heading for the quantification of a threat to align with the term "Danger Rating"
Penetration Testing Activity now opens in a dedicated modal with enhanced usability features.

Host Inspector

muted colors to distinguish theoretical CVEs from green, red, yellow colors in other areas of the app, which represent viable threats.

No changes were made during the period of this update. However, updates were made in early February. To learn more about these changes, see the dedicated February 2026 Threat Library release notes article.
Bug Fixes and Miscellaneous Improvements
Improved: Various minor stability improvements
Bug: Removed Advanced and Premium buttons in various locations that would fail to load options for the user to understand service level differences.
Bug: In some situations, the Threat Inspector bar would suddenly scroll in an unpredictable way.
